Filters

MetCon G flow control filters are made from a specially formulated carbon bonded ceramic and are specially designed for filtration and flow modification during the steel casting process. They can be moulded in the running system or used as part of a filter/sleeve combination. The carbon bond gives superior hot strength and thermal shock resistance and they are suitable for steels with a carbon content greater or equal to 0.18%.
