Capital’s one-shot crucible system provides the quality conscious investment caster with considerable improvements in terms of product quality.
Since the liner is only used once, there is no risk of cross-contamination of alloys, and inclusions are drastically reduced which will directly reduce rework and scrap costs.
The complete system comprises a fused silica or alumina, single-use, slip cast One-Shot Liner that is placed in a multi-use outer vibrocast alumina crucible (back-up/host crucible).
Capital mass-produce thousands of one-shot liners and corresponding back-up crucibles in a wide range of sizes at a state-of-the-art facility in the Czech Republic. If we don’t currently manufacture the size liner/back-up you need for your process, Capital can create new sizes to meet your needs.
