Backing Powder

To complement our range of crucibles Capital also supply unbonded alumina. zircon and magnesia backing powders. 

Our range of backing powders includes magnesia-based products: Cormag 90 which has a maximum grain size of 5 mm and Cormag 100 which has a maximum grain size of 4mm. 

Our Zircon Backing Mix, used as a backing powder for notably zircon and zirconia crucibles, has a maximum grain size of 0.25 mm.

We also have a fused alumina mix WFA BL1.
