Ian has had issues with his knees for a number of years and following a recent hernia surgery he has decided to complete his rehabilitation while supporting a very important charity. This charity is very important to Ian as he himself was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier in the year and while his prognosis is good, he wants to raise as much awareness as possible for a cancer that is the most common cancer in men and the statistics are that 1 in 8 men will get it.
Ian will be walking 100 miles throughout the month of September to raise vital funds for prostate cancer research. This would be a challenge for the fittest of people but with the problems Ian has with his knees and his recent surgery this is huge feat for Ian.
If anyone would like to make a donation in support of Ian, please see the link below to his JustGiving fundraising page.
