Capital Coils & Cables completes repair & refurbishment of damaged induction furnace
Capital Coils & Cables (C&C) furnace repair division has recently completed a major rapair and refurbishment of a damaged induction furnace.
Paul Porter, Business Manager @ Coils & Cables Division, had personally undertaken the repair and refurbishment of this project. The furnace had experienced a major metal penetration that had resulted in severe damage to the coil, shunts, base block and power/water cables (see attached photographs)
The repair and refurbishment was completed in under 5 days with the furnace back in production at the customers within 7 days of the furnace being received at Coils & Cables facility.
Paul advised the CRL News page that "Capital Refractories customers have come to rely upon C&C to provide a full service for the modern foundry with regards to repair and refurbishment of power cables and coils along with service capabilities. By providing the combined capabilities of refractory supply and the aformentioned services customers have peace of mind that delays are minimised, along with communication, invoicing and support is provided by one company".
