The CRL Group annual global technical and sales seminar was held at our specialist ceramics shapes division in the Czech Republic in late January 2016.

Colleagues from the Czech Republic, USA, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, India, France and the Spanish divisions, along with sales and technical staff from the UK were present for the three day seminar.

The seminar was held at the CRL Sro Czech facility, which recently completed a £1 million pound investment of new mixing and firing equipment, to showcase the facilities capabilities.

Capital Refractories Sro manufactures a range of specialist precast shapes for the casting of superalloys, some of the largest pieces measuring 1m x 1m x 1.5m for customers in Japan. This size has been made possible due to the recent investment in a new larger kiln.

Capital Refractories Group Managing Director, Mr James Newsome, presented the group sales results and closed the sales and technical seminars with the following comments:
